About Symposium

About symposium

Symposium is an event held at least twice a semester. where people from different careers and community members who have student-relevant information, come to our school and put together presentations to share information and give ideas to the students about the choices they have for the future.

We have had diverse presentations from a variety of industries: firefighters, dispatch officers, cosmetology schools, union representatives, professional poets, law enforcement officers, the Biopark, physical activities, voter information, motivational speakers, school safety, art and craft projects, and dietary information, to name a few.

Symposium is a way to show students they have many opportunities after high school and to share a variety of interests.
