APS offers services and support for children, youth, and their families who experience homelessness.
The trauma of homelessness, severe poverty, and high mobility combine to wreak havoc on the academic progress of children and youth in school. The APS Title I Homeless Program offers many services to homeless children and their families.
The Student, Family, and Community Supports Division includes six departments and one division support unit that work together utilizing the Coordinated School Health approach.
