Crossroads

The Crossroads Program at Freedom High School

Crossroads is a program in the APS Student, Family, and Community Supports Division. The program provides substance abuse prevention and intervention at various APS high schools.

Services are available to any student who attends Freedom, and the services provided are confidential in nature (except in cases of reported abuse, neglect, suicidal ideation, and/or safety threats). Students may seek assistance from the Crossroads Counselor to ask questions and obtain information about substances. This assistance is available even if the student does not have a problem with substance abuse, or in cases where there may be substance abuse with another family member.

An individual referral to Crossroads can be made by anyone: teacher, student (self or friend), parent, social worker, school counselor, principal, nurse, or security using the Crossroads Referral Form.
