What We Do
- Help students apply to college
- Help students and parents/guardians understand the admissions process and requirements
- Help students connect with Admissions Representatives
- Host college fairs and have College Recruiters visit Freedom
- Help families understand the college process
- Help undocumented students (students without a social security number) connect with representatives who can help them with the financial aspects of college
- Help students register for Dual Credit through The University of New Mexico and Central New Mexico Community College
- Help students register for exams such as ACT, SAT, ASVAB and Accuplacer
- Help students receive fee waivers for the ACT and/or SAT if student qualifies for free/reduced lunch
- Work with outside organizations for workshops, like ACT Prep and financial awareness
- Help students understand and interpret exam scores
- Help students apply for scholarships
- Host FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) Nights
- Help students connect with Military Recruiters
- Gives school staff information to share with students
- Have field trips for students
- Help students find community service and internship opportunities
