About JMP

About the program:

The Job Mentor Program (JMP) was created by Albuquerque Public Schools and the City of Albuquerque in order to encourage students to stay in school and graduate. The JMP program is intended to prepare students to enter the work world or post-secondary education world. 30 Freedom students can be involved in this program each semester. Students can choose to only complete one semester, or an entire year’s worth of JMP for elective credit.

Students can participate in the JMP program as part of their enrollment in the Service Learning class.

Students DO NOT have to have any work experience in order to be a part of JMP.

When does the class meet?

Tuesdays and Thursdays during 4th Period.
