Dual Credit Information from CNM
Accuplacer
Students can take the Accuplacer exam in-person at CNM’s main campus or remotely (must have a computer with webcam and audio capability). Remote testing cannot be completed on Chromebooks. Students must schedule their exam ahead of time. They can visit the CNM Remote Testing and click on Schedule My Accuplacer button.
There is also a Directed Self-Placement (DSP) alternative option which does not require an appointment. Students can take the DSP from a cell phone or other online device, and is an alternative to the Accuplacer reading assessment. Students can visit the CNM Directed Self Placement site and click on Take the DSP Assessment button. Note: Students needing a math placement score will still need to take the math portion of the Accuplacer.

CNM’s spring term will be mostly online. To see which classes are available, please visit our Schedule of Classes. If students are interested in our intersession courses, please visit our intersession web site to find out which courses will be offered.
Dual Credit Academic Coach
Students can contact our Dual Credit Academic Coach for help on course selections and degree programs. They can reach Kelli Gallardo at 224-4000 ext. 51878 or email her at kmartinez40@cnm.edu. Students must have their Accuplacer, ACT or SAT scores on file to help determine which classes they are eligible to register for.
Please register early as classes will fill up or may be cancelled due to low enrollment.
